“Say Alhamdulillah. It’s not that hard. Make it a habit. InshaAllah, that feeling of being truly thankful to God will come into you.”
First thing first, I would like to thank my beloved friends and families who have been around me all these years; for 23 years I’ve been living in this temporary world. Yes, I am already 23. Thank you friends for the wishes, for the birthday gifts, and for being there with me. Thank you for your company. I had a great day. Thank you. Thank you so much. May Allah rewards you with success and showers you with His blessings. InshaAllah.
In my previous post, I mentioned that I got an early birthday gift from Daddy, right? Alhamdulillah, my return ticket to Malaysia was confirmed. I’ll be home, for my semester break this Summer. InshaAllah.
So this weekend we had the ISK at University of Iowa. It was a collaboration of the universities nearby. I loved it! I had the chance to listen and learn when I was doing pre-U. But I wasted it. and I had a conversation with this one sister and she was so excited when I said I went to ‘that school.’ because she loves the environment of the ‘usrah’ there. and the ‘tarbiyyah’. I know, I wasted my 2 years at that schooll. and if I could turn back time, I would. I would have grab the opportunities to learn more about my faith, what I claimed to be my way of life. But it is never too late to learn, right?
Alhamdulillah, ISK (Ini Sejarah Kita) opened my eyes, my mind, and most importantly, my HEART. There are just so many new things for me and I don’t know how to tell you. what I can say is, you guys should check it out. I know many of you have already listened to it. But to those who haven’t, check it out. listen from someone who are willing to tell you. ask because I believe, anyone would be happy to share; because I after all, it is our history! inshaAllah, as long as you have the will and effort, He will help you.
oh, this might be my final post before my long break from blogging. This semester is a tough one. I have to admit. InshaAllah, I will write again when the time permits. Nevertheless, I don’t think I have many followers or readers, right? HAHA but it does not matter. I’m not good in preaching neither I am pious enough to tell you this and that about Islam. But I know I have to share something. I just hope what I wrote and shared can inspire someone in some aspects of their lives. In a good way of course! inshaAllah.
Let us together be a better Muslim. Let’s be the 3 percent of Muslim so that we can help our brothers and sisters around the world. and bring back the greatness of Islam. and be proud because we are a muslim.
till next time inshaAllah. Assalamu’alaykum.
